Eggs by Penny - named after the first head-hen on our farm, a rambunctious buckeye named Penny. 

Our chickens are like our pets. We prioritize their health and happiness.

We offer organic free-range eggs collected from our flock daily. The healthiest eggs you can get! All feed given to our flock is organic and they love grazing on fresh grass and bugs. No pesticides or artificial fertilizer used on the grass. Any veggies or treats given are organic as well. We even ensure water is given through lead-free hosing. This is very important as environmental toxins concentrate in fat tissue which transfers directly into eggs and then into your body.

Research has shown that pasture-raised eggs contain twice as much omega-3, three times more vitamin D, four times more vitamin E, and seven times more beta-carotene.

We greatly enjoy our farm fresh eggs and are happy to share them with those who appreciate high quality food and humane treatment of the animals that provide it. Eggs vary in color and size from our mixed flock including those from heritage breeds such as Ancona and Mottled Java chickens. You will taste the difference.

We leave the natural bloom on our eggs and so they will stay good unrefrigerated for about a month. If you don't get to them within a month, you can put them in the fridge for another three months. Simply wash gently with warm water just before use.
